A huge symptom for me has been chronic joint and muscle pain. It has been so bad that I have been wheelchair bound in the past, and unble to walk from bed to the bathroom ... or at least it took a lot of strategies, and an hour or two . . .

OK so I am 1.5 years into tx, and about 3 months into rocephin. The rocephin has cleared all the mental stuff.

But three days ago the pain went away! No painkillers. It was gone for most of the day. It happened again the next day.

Now the pain has come back, but I am wondering if the rocephin is now getting into the joints and muscles . I thought it was basically for neurocog.

I thought I would be living with this level of moderate chronic pain for the rest of my life. But now I am wondering . . . Maybe not.

Great news, my friend!

I haven't been on Rocephin yet, and my pain issues are far worse in my nerves than in my joints - although the muscle pain is quite severe.

So all I can offer are good wishes that these periods of being pain-free will come back and become longer-lasting.

I do have some recommendations for one supplement and two topical products for muscle and joint pain. I'll PM you when I can - I am so spacey today I need to take a break.

But it sounds like Rocephin is reaching deep into the areas that need it!

Hi Jeff

when I started Mepron for Babs-
my joint and Muscle pain
perty much stopped in 2 months-

I am now 97% pain free

I was in Real bad pain like you-18 yrs-

Jeff, All of my symptoms have been joint and muscle related with very little neuro issues. The Rocephin worked great for me...just wish I had stayed on it longer since I'm suffering again. Won't know until next week if I'll be back on the IV or stick to orals for awhile. I've got shooting pains in my fingers, hands, wrists, arms and legs...perhaps a herx from starting abx again.
