I know i post a lot of things here...i cant help it.
Someone on the General Discussion area put an interesting posting up about Greg from the Wiggles childrens show becoming chronically ill and having to leave the group for the most part.
They didnt mention any official diagnosis.

One article mentioned this. I have ALL these symptoms....but i have Lyme. So im wondering...is this PART of Lyme or a whole different issue i have in addition to lyme?
Anyone else have these issues?
Especially the nausea and body temperature control problems?...

Here is what was stated in the article...

Orthostatic Intolerance Symptoms
In addition to the symptoms Page is experiencing, the low blood pressure from orthostatic intolerance leads to the following symptoms:

Dizziness

Blurry vision

Fainting

Fatigue

Inability to exercise

Nausea

Headache

Difficulty breathing

While the exact cause is somewhat mysterious, it's linked to a problem with the part of the nervous system that controls body functions we don't normally have to think about, such as breathing, heart pumping, and body temperature.

*The cause of Greg Page's orthostatic intolerance is unknown at this point.

I have this...it is called POTS. It basically is caused by the Parasympathetic nervous system not functioning as well as it should. This system controls things like digestion and such. I have low blood pressure...usually 96/65 or so. I am not sure whether Lyme causes this or not.

I also have it, it can be called a variety of things depending on your symptoms. Sometimes mine fits the criteria for POTS and others it's Neurally Mediated Hypotension.

In addition to the orthostatic intolerance the whole thing falls under the umbrella of dysautonomia, which means your autonomic nervous system, which is supposed to automatically adapt to things for your body, like temperature, BP, etc.

Some of my symptoms include heat intolerance, orthostatic intolerance, exercise intolerance (post-exertional malaise), dizziness, shortness of breath, profound fatigue and general klutziness due to my poor balance.

It also affects my cognitive skills. When I overdo it, they are really bad.

I have this, my mother and both sisters and brother have it as well and we also have lyme. My understanding is that it can be part of lyme.

Dr. B. mentions low blood volume and low blood pressure as in NMH. See page 6 and 27.

My symptoms and those of my family members are almost identical to lymednva. We also have hypovolemia (low blood volume) caused by a low red blood cell mass which is likely part of the cause for our low blood pressure/orthostatic hypotension. We have all been infected for decades.

This has been discussed here many times. You can do a search to find more info about it here.
