I am afraid I cannot deal with this anymore. I am housebound, very isolated, chills, cannot regulate body temperature, weak, achy, depressed. EVERY TIME I STAND I AM DIZZY AND ALMOST PASS OUT. I fall... I was starting my own business prior to this and now my life has fallen apart- including a long-time coming separation from my husband and no family support its too much to handle. plus i have lost so much weight every day that my doc threatens hospitilization am trying to force feed but cannot eat so stressed. am trying shakes..easier to go down... but still lost again today...

I wonder if I stopped treatment/meds if I would be better off? I am neuro lyme treated with biaxin/plaq and others for the depression/anxiety.It seems as though I might have been better before, though I was having difficult speaking and walking and seizure-like activity...floaters and eye issues etc

what should I do? if this lasts much longer I will be broke/
thanks

I had to cut back on my abx dosage at one point. It helped me get my life back! Always check with your LLMD first though.

Hope you feel better soon.

Have you tried any detoxing methods? Please see some of the topics listed today by GiGi. Hot baths, skin brushing, detox foot pads, etc. Need to keep the lymphatic and circulatory system moving and clear.

Best wishes,

Claire

I want:

Take a look at the link below. Good recommendation for foot detox pads.

www.BetterHealthGuy.com

Really interesting website with tons of personal information. We've relied on Scott's advice and input for more than a year. I think you'll benefit from reading what he has to say.

Good Luck

And yes, be sure you're detoxing. Get some chlorophyll. I lost weight like crazy one time, but once I got on a good anti-depressant, it all resolved.

Which one are you taking??

Also...babesia causes anorexia. Maybe treatment for that will help in time.

Can you eat nuts?? They could help you gain some weight.

I'm so sorry you're going thru this. Many of us have been where you are, and it's NOT fun!

Also... if you have a bath brush, loofah, or even you can use a hairbrush you can use it to stimulate the lymphatic system to move. Use upward brush strokes through the arms and legs, and downstrokes through the torso. Five minutes is best.

Though most recommend dry brushing, I like to do it while taking a hot bath because the heat also stimulates circulation. Epsom salts should be helpful.

Sorry to keep posting here, but I had one other thought...

When I was very weak, I had to be careful not to eat foods I was sensitive to. It created more stress on my system if I was not mindful about this.

Problems foods for me were wheat, dairy, sugar, caffeine, most carbs except potatos. It was inconvenient and annoying, but important. I also had to watch oils, too for some reason. Had to switch to ghee, a clarified butter, for cooking, but only in small amounts due to dairy problem, and better tolerated when heated.

I didn't stop ALL my abx-but I did stop Mino because I was so incapacitated by it.

My LLMD lets me decide how much I can handle and I had to draw the line there-but hope to get back to it when I am in more of a position to be laid up for a while.

LIke if I plan for it-and don't put any other demands on myself-I might be able to handle another round of Mino.
