After 35 days or so of treatment, I started to experience moments where I felt GOOD. No brain fog, no dizziness, and very little visual problems. Sometimes these moments last a few minutes and sometimes they last almost an entire hour.
It's great when it happens, but I hate to see them fade away.
What do you think?

I think that's terrific! Enjoy the moment-there should be many more to come Sue

Great news, Visual!
The good hours will increase, and hopefully turn into good days, which will eventually start outnumbering the bad.
Keep on hammering it and stay on top of your probiotics.
I'm telling ya, you're gonna miss those trippy afterimage effects. It sounds like they're on their way out.
Keep getting better.

I think I would have thrown in the towel by now if it hadn't been for those moments of clarity- that glimpse into the way things could be.
Unfortunately it was while I was on mino-and I couldn't tolerate the down time, so for now I have backed off -but those moments are so refreshing when they come-it's the reason I am willing to do flagyl which really has an effect on me,too.
I try to tell myself- the sicker I feel -the weller I'll be !

keep a diary of those moments, it's really helpful when you're having moments of doubt or when you get better to be able to quantify what your progress has been.

here here....I agree with feeling good momentarily! Yet looking forward to days of the same.
so AfterVisualMan...I can pretty much mirror your question...pockets of feeling darn good, then well you know!
Cobweb, don't you love Mino? Keep the faith, I count on all of you/us to keep my chin up!
Who says we can't rid ourselves of this plight?
Herx to heal...liking how that sounds more and more each day!

No problem 24Tory57!
I'm glad to hear that others are having the same type of moments.
I agree, they are great when they come, but they are oh too short. I wish they would stay for a longer duration. As for keeping a dairy, I do keep a daily diary and plot my symptoms. It's a line graph that shows an over all improvement, but the lines do amazing sweeping up and down throughout the day. Lyme really does have EVER Changing symptoms.
Except for me... I have what I call the big three that never seem to go away. Visual, Fatigue and Depression are always there. But they do get better and worse over time. So far the depression is starting to come under control, but the visual and fatigue seems constant. Ugh.. I guess this disease takes time huh?
I hope that more of you get these moments. Its nice to see what the future will hold. It's a very strange concept for it to feel so strange to feel well. What's up with that?
