Is this true?

My understanding, the pathogens that cause Lyme disease are slow-growing in nature. So if the abx is effective, using higher levels of abx doesn't make any sense, unless the abx is just has marginal effects on the pathogens.

Second, abx is immunosupressive, so high dose of abx will low the immunity, which is especially needed for fighting chronic diseases.

So low dose, long term of abx would be more beneficial.

Unless you are going downhill with a low dose, then a higher dose had better be tried before it is too late.
