I read and enjoyed your interview with Dr. Derksen.
We've tried an alternative doctor here in Southern California, but it turned out to be more smoke and mirrors rather than a real positive experience.
I'm bookmarking your article and we may attempt to see Dr. Derksen in the future.
I also read with interest in the PHA publication the article on page 4, "Bacterial Co-Infections in Chronic Diseases".
Dr. Nicholson's explanation of the Lyme bacteria and it's associated co-infections was one of the easiest explanations that I've read.
I will be starting a subscription to the LHA today. Thanks for your efforts and thanks to the LHA for the work their doing.

Thanks Scott, that was really good interview. I thought it to be a real balanced article. Speaks about using ABX in the EXTREME cases. In cases of fungus and mold, medications are preferred by this person over alternatives.
Talks about addressing hypercoagulation and that it is a huge factor. Recommends the alternatives and also that heparin may be a valuable option.
Then it talks a lot about alternatives all of the different ones we se discussed here.
I also noticed that there is an article about coinfections with Garth Nicholson thoughts, Will be reading that too.

I was thinking someone should make sure AG Blumenthal is made aware of the article by Garth Nicholson. I found it very, very interesting. Someone has the guts to tell the truth!!!!!Finally.
This article needs to be circulated in as many ways as possible. It is an eye opener.
Scott, your interview was great. How would you go about finding an ART "certified" ND in any given area? I have looked in some local health/homeopathic publications and no one mentions it. I live in New Jersey.

Hey Scott, nice article.
I go to your website sometimes and I want to say thank you. I left open the page about the water filters for the shower (for my husband to see - he was supposed to buy them for my birthday in June) and he me got two (one for my shower and one for my daughter who is sensitive to everything) for Christmas!

I have been away from Lymenet for a while and what interests me is the coming together of Buhner and Klinghardt.
For people who are familar with both I wonder what are there differences, if any?
I have just ordered the Buhner book so its difficult for me to judge but one thing that stands out is there different attitudes to Samento V Cats Claw.
I find it very encouraging to see this convergence.
Scott- I looked up all the supplements you are taking- how much do you spend on Supplements? I guess some people just cant afford to go the Klinghardt route and Buhner offers for them a cheaper alternative.

My program is based primarily on research over the last year and a half. I don't follow any specific "protocol". It is a mix of valuable information I have learned from Dr. K, Buhner's book, allopathic medicine, and others along the way like GiGi.

Good article--I also see an N.D., and I really feel that having the holistic approach is key to conquering Lyme (if that's possible!!). The ideal would be to have an N.D. and an L.L.M.D.
There's no denying that Lyme & coinfections are bad, but if we don't deal with heavy metals/yeast/parasatites or whatever, we're probably not going to get totally well. I thought Dr. Derksen did a good job of setting out the multiple fundamental health issues that need to be addressed along side, or before, Lyme.
