A relatively new product I have learned about and am now using is Researched Nutritionals Transfer Factor LymPlus. Too early to comment, but take a look:

When looking at this, it doesn't reference anything to Lyme disease.
Is it possibly because they don't want to get into trouble(or look fanatical) about making any claims of what the product can help you against?
Do you know if it's used specifically for lyme or general immune health?

Scott...a LONG time ago...a guy (amazingly from Sarasota) used Transfer Factor, ate very healthy and exercised a LOT (!) (he was a serious athlete) and recovered when abx. failed.
I don't remember his name. He had a website.
Oxygenbabe/others, do you recall his name?
If needed, I will DIG thru old files to fine it. He lived in Palmer Ranch in Sarasota...
and his name was...
shoot...this getting old stinks!

It has specific support for Borrelia, Babesia, Ehrlichia, EBV, HHV6, CMV and Chlamydia Pneumoniae. All from the product brochure. It is provided only through medical doctors.

If I may ask 2 questions have you experienced a herx? I know this doesn't mean it's not working.
and have you noticed a candida problem with the brewers yeast?
Have not noticed a herx but would be hard to tell since I do constantly change my program and hard to tie any change to one product.

I have been on Transfer Factor for about 2 months, and haven't noticed any herx or anything of note while on it. I had a concomitant reaction to Plaquenil, and it's possible any herx I had was masked by that. I continue to hope that it is helping...but am honestly not sure.

I continue to take it. So much has changed in my program in the past couple of months it would be hard to say if it is doing anything specific. I know it tests well with ART and relative to other transfer factors seems reasonably priced. Take care.

I think the Researched Nutritionals products are good. I can't say that I have had a major change, but I do think they are good products. I am interested in hearing from people that have tried their NT Factor as well.

i was just prescribed this product by my ART practitioner. i'm to wait until i complete two months of the natura colon/parasite cleanse to start it, though.

I have not researched the Transfer Factor products as thoroughly as should be done, but when I did some cursory research for various diseases it seemed to not work very often.
There are some Pub Med articles concerning Tranfer Factor and various diseases. I do not remember Lyme being one of them. I used Google Scholar to search for studies. The original product, which is different from this one did not show enough promise for me to continue looking into it.
This does not mean the new product will not work, but given the history of the other product, I would be skeptical of any claims made by the company.
I appreciate your continued reporting on this new product and any other users experiences with it.

I feel really fortunate that my LLMD does a lot of the researching for me.
Although I am on antibiotics ,she also provides alternative therapies ,too. So I do both.
She tells me what brands to stay away from for impurities sake, and what brands she considers best from her research.
Still I always do a back up check on whatever she prescribes.
She has not suggested the product you mention Scott, so I can't help you there.
At this point in time I am doing so well on her protocal I have no reason to go out on my own.

There's a fine line with all this, commercialism and health.
I take NT Factor per dr. and it is harmless.
But been so overhwhelmed, and my sense is that his NT factor is a harmless potential,
but perhaps, not a real crux factor in teh treatment. Maybe at a later date, when more loads and tocicities have been released, I will say more specifically.
But NT Factor, I do have a relatively positive reponse about, although there are other more heavy duty things at hand additionally.
I think NT factor is a plus.

I took NT factor for several months pre-lyme diagnosis, under guidance of a well-respected holistic MD. Didn't help me at all. Maybe it would have helped if I was on abx at the time, I don't know. Just my experience.

There are many forms of transfer factor - some from cows & some from chickens or combined. They are also known as "immune milk" colostrum, etc. They can be quite expensive. It would be nice to know if they actually work. It seems from the congressman's experience that he actually made a very "customized" formula (I believe they used his own blood injected into the pregnant cow's udder) & that was the reason for success. It's a drag to waste $150 on a bottle of something that has limited results.
