I seem to be getting a rash across my stomach, it comes and goes, it's very itchy. I've tried putting hydrocortisone cream on it but itdoesn't help at all. I was tested for co-infections, but they were negative. I'm thinking maybe it's bartonella.

Hi Nancy,
My Bart rash was never itchy, but I just have the red stretchmark looking streaks, not the other stuff.
The streaks fade or increase in intensity, but they don't really come and go. Eventually after a long while they fade to clear, but there are still scar looking things there.

The red streaks and stretch mark looking things aren't itchy, but I know about the rash you are talking about because I have had it, and it itched so much it was almost painful like my skin was on fire. I found pinching the area worked better than scratching.

I had the hive-like (red, papular,series of oval) Bart rash and it was not itchy.
