Has anyone used or heard of a supplement called "Stem Enhance"? It is sold by a company called StemTech in San Clemente, CA. It is a blend of two compounds extracted from an aquatic botanical; Aphanizomenon flos-algae [AFA]; 1. L-selectin ligand that supports the natural release of stem cells [CD34+ cells] from the bone marrow and 2. a polysaccharide rich fraction called Migratose that is supposed to assist the migration of stem cells out of the blood into tissues. I think it's also known as "blue-green algae".

Researchers have recently discovered stem cells in amniotic fluid (bag of water that a fetus lives in until birth).

They can be harvested from the umbilical cord when you are born and saved in case you need them later on in life.

It isn't cheap, but is available today.

To give stem cells to fight multiple myeloma, first they have to shut down/supress the immune system and then they "recharge it". It can be repeated twice and does seem to work for a few years.

Mike

My son has been taking this since October when he was prescribed this along with other supplements from a wonderful homeopathic doctor.

He is 24 and not always the communicator but I can say that he did ask that we continue this and two other products that she recommended so that's a big deal. He has been taking recommended supplements for 6 years now and never asked for a specific product except his probiotic.

Valymemom,
Does he notice a difference? Why is he taking it? Does he have neuro or ALS symptoms? Thanks.

His daily symptom for 6 years is pain: headache, myalgias, arthritic pains, TMJ and then fatigue and insomnia.

I wish I could tell you more. I only know we went to the homeopathic doctor to take care of detoxing and to help build up a body that was probably full of yeast.

She praised the benefits of this product and he takes it with a product for colon health and another product with enzymes.

I'm all for using natural & alternative remedies but this seems like a scam to me.

I took a took at the website & just the format of the website gave it away... It has the look of another multi-level marketing scam product.

$60 a bottle is not cheap.

I too am looking at this product and if my LLMD gives her approval, I may give it a try.

It is not the same as what Marnie mentions above. That procedure is very dangerous and has had some good success in curing rheumatoid arthritis but doctors will only approve it if you are in really bad shape. You have to basically kill your immune system with large doses of chemotherapy and then take months to rebuild it. During that time, you must be very careful to avoid infections. Now what would all of that do to the infections you already have such as lyme and babesia?

StemEnhance is just a supplement that somehow stimulates your body to produce more stemcells. The stemcells then go to places in your body that need healing.

I am considering it as a way to regrow cartilage. Frankly, I don't hold out high hopes but may give it a try in case.

I am much more interested in the Bionic 880, but the cost of that makes $60 a bottle seem like nothing.

We ended up trying it...for awhile, too. We didn't see any changes.

If you are considering something for cartilage and joint pain, I'm sure you've heard of glucosamine and chondroitin- but if you haven't, I have come across people who have tried this with some good results.

Hi Mike,

I was using glucosamine sulphate for a time and felt it was doing a lot of good but my doctor made me stop because I am allergic to sulphur.

sigh......

Sorry to hear the stemcell enhance did nothing for you but also not really surprised. I don't understand the science behind it.

The Bionic 880 however, not only makes alot of sense but also is being used here in America for healing of injuries and reduction of pain. It is FDA approved and used extensively by NASA.

So, it seems the doctors in Germany have taken it a step further and are killing infections. Just makes sense to me.

Thanks again for sharing your experience.
