I think the med recieves the most attention because it hold the most important info...
AND some people are just to sick to check more than one forum and since med is where most of the posts are they check here...
I know there was a time when I was lucky if I could even check out medical.
Although this is just my theory I could be wrong... It sure wouldnt be the first time

Good question!! Some are here for years and never even open General or Off Topic.
We have JOKES over in those sites. We celebrate birthdays over in General. We post cute graphics and photos.
All kinds of fun and support.
Sometimes we need to ask things that just DON'T fit into the Medical section.
So come on over!!!!

I think mostly everyone is here. Questions get answered here.

john, questions get answered on ANY OF LYMENET FORUMS!
check out activism and computer questions as well!
many are set in their ways and nothing or no one will convince them to look at the other forums.

It is a shame people limit themselves to just medical. I am here for fun and to feel connected to others.
Spending time only in medical which is a hotbed of discontent is not going to help me in my quest.
And Betty makes a good point - questions are answered everywhere. Lots of newbies post on General first.

Aaah, the good, the funny, the bad, the ugly! Sounds like life!
To find the postings,
I bypass the forum choice, and access via "Today's Active Topics".
Click on "flash discussion " on left of screen.
This takes to you to the page where all the forums are listed.
Instead, of opening each forum, I click on "Today's...." which is on the top right screen.
This takes you to a page where postings are listed by date, and not forum, although the appropriate forum is identified for each posting.
You can see all of recent lymenet postings without having to switch forums.
I can quickly access this by just using the "flash" page as a toobar favorite.
Took me 2 years to figure this out........!

Northstar, I think it took me a few years to find that out as well. I think they should put that in larger print or in a more predominant manner.
People really ARE missing out by not visiting Off Topic and General Support now and then. I visit GS and Med every day...several times a day.
Off Topic is now more fun since it doesn't have all that political C***!!

Yes, we are soooo quick! But better late than never! It is a time saver, and a brain saver !
Off Topic is now more fun since it doesn't have all that political C***!!
I'll second that....it really put a drag on the entire site. Endless.
