I saw my LLMD yesterday and I still have some mild light-sensitivity after nearly 3 years on abx.
He said he attended a conference and learned of a supplement that has helped many of us with eye problems due to Lyme, Bart, etc.
It's called Astaxanthin and it's considered a fat-soluable antioxidant that crosses the blood/brain barrier. Google to learn more about it.
If you decide to try it, he said to be SURE to get top quality for it to be effective.
I'm on it now and hoping for the best!

I bought hubby a bottle of this once -- one of the most expensive antioxidants. His eye pain comes and goes so I can't really say whether or not it helped.

Interesting... I have a bottle of this from when my symptoms first started popping up that a hockey-playing friend of mine gave me.
I believe he said he uses it for help with the joints... never thought of it as helpful for eyes.
Perhaps it's time to give it a whirl.

Thanks, Carol.
I too would appreciate an update.
I'm going to try Stephania Root next for vision problems.
If you can post it to medical and you don't mind doing so, I'm more likely to see it. My physical situation is so dire that I usually only have energy to scan that section
