Lyme can cause panic attacks, so you may as well blame it for them!
Any recent change in meds?

Hi Kristin,
Before I got my Lyme, Babesia and Bart under control I had cognitive problems and panic attacks.
It sucks. Xanax helped me while I was planning my wedding. Now xanax is a sleep aid.
Feel better soon,

You may want to look into quinolinic acid and ways to ameliorate it. Apparently some of the confusion/memory problems that are caused by lyme may be caused by the production quinolinic acid. Some things that Buhner (healing lyme book) claims help with that are: resversatrol melatonin copper/vit C selenium
Terry I'm not a doctor

lyme can effect blood flow to certain areas of your brain. address of the infection will resolve that.
if you are on lyme treatment, things could get worse before better.
a good naturopath or homepath or other alternative practitioner who understands it is a brain/blood flow issue - can support a patient through this. as well as deal with any toxicity issues, which should also be noted.
have you ever had a SPECT scan? this test if done at the LL facitities, will show this on film.
either way, with neurological manifestations of Lyme, the blood flow is effected, as are neuro toxins a factor, and both cause diffuse brain function, many have increased anxiety and panic attacks.
