i know that one of the standard regimens for lyme is a macrolide (usually biaxin) with Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine).

as i understand it the Palquenil helps the abx penetrate deeper into the cells.

is ketek which is i guess in the family as biaxin ever used with plaquenil?

There isn't any need to use Plaq with Ketek because Ketek works well in any Ph, unlike Biaxin and Zith which need some help. It would be better to team Ketek up with something like Bicillin, Mino, or Tini/Flagyl.
