I'm new to this site and quite frankly, overwhelmed at the volume of information out there. I started having symptoms in 1998 and just got my diagnosis two months ago (12/2006). My doctor started me on Samento and Doxy but I'm very interested in trying Rife therapy but again, there are so many different models and prices. Any feedback is appreciated. Supposedly, I only have Borrelia and heavy metals which we will be chelating soon. I haven't had hardly any Herxing and I've functioned pretty well over the past nine years until about six months ago when I started to really take a turn. I know you've all been there but as a "newbie" to this diagnosis, it'd be helpful to find someone who has had success with Rifing. If I can keep the cost under $1,000 that would be helpful. Thanks in advance and be well!

Rife labs has a good EMEM in your price range. It also is one of the top four used for Lyme Disease. A good machine for the money.IMHO
He discusses how rife works and what in his opinion are the top 4 rife machines for the price. He also discusses other therapies which help and there's other great info on Lyme disease.
I have a rife machine that cost less than $500. Works great!

Thanks for the question, dancin. Can anybody explain the difference between Rife and KMT? Seems you can get or make some rife machines cheeper, but I hear really good feedback on the KMT's as well. With KMT's are you just getting Rife and a gimick with lots of cool buttons, or is it something quite different?
Best of luck!

I have never used a KMT machine but I beleive it is a microcurrent device. While Rife uses specific frequencies at higher power to destroy or disable viruses and bacteria a microcurrent machine uses a different principle of recharging the bodies cells to heal itself.
I think a microcurrent device is more similar to the principle behind a Lakhovsky Multiple Wave Oscillator than it is to a Rife machine.
I am not an expert on microcurrent devices so don't take this as the last word on the subject.

Good Cudancin,
Keep looking into Rife.
I went off ABX (after 2 solid years) and onto Rife alone over 6 months ago.
My only regret is that I hadn't started Rife from the beginning.
I, like most folks had never heard about Rife and concidered it to be junk science.
Fate brought the use of a new Prowave 101 contact pad Rife machine.
I herxed slightly for 2 days, and knew immediatly that Rife works.
I started Rifing 4 hours (a night) and now Rife about 1-2 hours every night depending how I feel.
Now the really good news is that after the first 2 weeks of use, I had to give the $2500 machine back to friend.
I recreated the exact square wave signals (as Prowave) using my computer, a linear (power) amplifier, self adhesive contact pads, and wire, in one afternoon.
My cost over and above my existing computer was about $75.
I eventually switched to a cheap and portable MP3 player as the signal source and use now along with the amplifier, pads, etc.
I am not free of Bb entirely (still Rife for meningitus), but am not dying from chemical abuse either.
Thanks all for responding! I did get the Lymebook and am only a few pages into it. Tons of info.
My boyfriend is looking into ways to build one so that is an option too. Helps to date an engineer!!
I'll check into your suggestions. It's nice to know that there are others on this path.
Be well...

Cudancin,
This site link has the information that may help you get something together quickly. It is basically the same thing that I am using with few differences. I can make amplifier, frequency recommendations should you go the homebuilt contact pad route. Don't let the low cost scare you away, there simply is not that much to these contact pad devices. Re-create exact frequency on computer gives you flexibility. Technique is exactly the same as factory units.
You might also consider trying electromagnetic devices. All you need to make one is a frequency generator program, a powerfull audio amplifier and a TV degaussing coil. It cost me nothing initially. However, if successfull, you will want to buy better equipment.
