I'm wondering if anyone has tested positive for Babs months or years later after a Bowen test for babs was negative?
Does anyone know how accurate their Babs test was suppose to be?

Yes, their Babs test in my experience was not very good. I tested positive via IgM/IgG AND FISH after a negative Bowen Babs test.

Scott-did you test positive from Igenex? I initially tested positive, my last titer was now negative, and I'm wondering if it is a false negative (off babs meds for 3 months)

Thanks Scott. Anyone else?

I had a negative co-infection test from Bowen but positive for Babs from Igenex.
I got the Bowen before I found my LLMD and was seeking answers with a naturopath. My LLMD said he has no trust in the Bowen co-infection tests.

Hubby had 2 Bowen tests -- both before any Babs treatment. One test was positive for Babs (2 years before any Babs treatment) and the 2nd was negative for Babs. The Dr B treated hubby for Babs based on the positive test -- he told hubby that he would believe the positive test from Bowen but that a negative test was not conclusive.
Hubby has never had any other Babs tests that were positive. Hubby had an Immunosciences test about 6 months ago (5 1/2 years after getting sick and 4 years after the 1st Bowen test). Babs test results while negative were highly suspicious
-- 2.0 is a positive result -- hubby was at 1.9 and 1.8 -- one was IgG and the other was IgM (forget which was which). This was after great improvement on Babs meds but he did seem to be relapsing at the time.
Recently resumed low dose quinine protocol and have seen significant improvement with seizure-like episodes. Tremors and ease of movement in general seem to be much slower to respond this time around (3rd time for babs treatment). IV Heparin also is working wonders again -- stops seizure-like episodes when nothing else will work.
