Is aluminum generally one of the metals that we should be concerned about?

I have heard differing views on the dangers of aluminum, and would like some more opinions and ideas for detoxing.

I am specifically concerned about raw aluminum, not just the amounts found in drinking water or in food from containers... My mother is a metal sculptor, and has used massive quantities of recycled, raw aluminum for the past 30 years - is there any type of detoxing she can do at this point?

Any thoughts on this would be welcome!

YES. Be concerned.

Mg malate = magnesium + malic acid.

Malic acid chelates Al.

Yes, alu is a heavy metal of concern. Many a Parkinsonism has been brought on by it, of course usually some other metals are also involved.

Maybe a heavy metal challenge test is in order -- not knowing anything about your mother's symptoms.
Just don't blame it all on Lyme. It's n e v e r just Lyme.

Depending on the severity, a doctor should help.
Apple cider vinegar (with meals, in water), good quality chlorella 30 min before meals, Vitamin C, vinegar baths, cilantro tincture (tea 1-10 drops before bedtime) -- all these help. Cal EDTA, if you have a doctor to monitor.

Take care.

GiGi, thank you - it's so good to see you back! Was just looking through some of your old posts last night, thinking what a great resource you've been...

I'll suggest all of these to her. And add some in for myself, since I grew up with her work as well.
