Hey everyone,

I hope you guys are doing your best to get thru
the day. and I hope you are slowly but surely healing!

I have a question that I thought you might be able to help me out with.

Does anyone know anything about individual health
insurance policies in Ohio or the greater midwest area? Have you had positive or negative experiences with specific companies? etc... Are there any specific co. with better prescription drug coverage than others?

Thanks for taking your time and effort to read this. I really appreciate your help.

Take Care!

We use Anthem. My husband owns a company and five families are covered under the policy. If they do groups that small, perhaps they do individual policies as well.

A word of warning -- don't go with a policy that isn't rated high. We were with a trade group's self-insurance policy, they went under and didn't cover our daughter's broken arm.

Starbucks has insurance benefits if you work at least 20 hours per week.

It's been a few years since this happened, and the insurance is through my husband's company, so I haven't paid close attention to it. I know there's a rating system for insurance companies, but I've forgotten how it works. I think it has to do with how much money/capital the company has -- their ability to pay.
