My friend Pam, not a lymie, has systemic yeast and loads of problems. I've told her to cut out the Mountain Dew but she literally lives on that stuff.

Anyhewww, she has started on something she found on the net called "candidol" and she swears by it.

I had mouth ulcers and my tongue got all messed up with Threelac. Doc said it had some kind of citric acid or something like that, that really irritated my mouth, so I returned it.

I hate to take the diflucan but have to.

Bottom line, this candidol is all natural and made up of a lot of stuff. Has anybody tried it? She said she pays about $150 or so for three bottles, which last about 90 days.

I never have heard of it. I swear by THERAlac, which does not contain the citrus stuff. It's slightly cheaper than the candidol.

Your friend will never get rid of yeast if she continues to drink Mountain Dew containing sugar. [I know you know that!! [Wink] ]

Yeah, I've told her that. She works nights in the ER and it keeps her going. She often works 16 straight hours.

Got my Theralac and am taking one per day. I's the diet that's tough for me, but I'm trying.......

The diet is indeed tough!

Maybe your friend will switch to sugar-free....although that brings a whole new set of problems!

Interesting - here are the all ingredients in the candidol - looks like it has some galactose in in that GiGi talks about. This is the first I have heard of this product
Candidol provides a revolutionary new class of dietary supplements that support overall cellular signaling and reception.

Candidol's Dietary Plant Nutrients
Mannose is the chief of the essential super critical molecular glycans. It helps strengthen the excretion system and helps to defend against bacterial infections. Proteins that carry mannose to cells activate macrophages that literally devour cancer cells, it also releases a substance called INTERFERON which alerts and empowers immune defenses inhibiting disease . . .

Galactose coexists with lactose. It is vital for intercellular communications. It promotes wound healing, decreased inflammation, and stimulates needed calcium absorption. . .

Fucose is found in healthy mother's milk and transfers immunity to newborns. It is important for proper nerve function, kidney health, reproduction systems and hydration of your skin . . .

Glucose enhances memory, stimulates calcium absorption and increases cellular communication.

Xylose is an antibacterial and antifungal. It promotes the growth of healthful flora in your intestines, therefore maximizing nutrient absorption which in turn strengthens your immune system . . .

N-acetylneuramic acid is vital to many body fluids including, serum, cerebrospinal, saliva, amniotic, and mother's milk. It is an immune modulator that benefits many things and it is a powerful antiviral. It is 1000 times more potent than antiviral drugs used to fight influenza . . .

N-acetylgalactosamine helps in the prevention of many diseases. Evidence reveals it helps in tumor reduction and in promoting healthful heart cells. This is also key in promoting joint health and is also an anti-inflammatory.

N-acetylglucosamine found in the brain, thyroid, liver, small intestine, testes, epithelial cells of the endocrine and sebaceous glands, and endothelial cells of blood vessels. It is presumed that it plays a crucial role in all these tissues and organs.
