Dear Friends,

I have just learned that the posting regarding CODEX was misleading (and probably intentionally so) I have been working on the CODEX issue--which would destroy the ability of people in the US to get most dietary supplements--for some time. Here's the facts:

The subject--FDA fobitting all alternative health care is incorrect. For accurate data, go to http://www.fda.gov/OHRMS/DOCKETS/98fr/06d-0480-gld0001.pdf, where page 4 says, "This draf guidance, when finalized will represent the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA'S) current thinking on this topic. It does not create or confe any rights for or on any person and does not operate to bind FDA or the public._

The original message comes from a group calle "Natural Solutions Foundatiion," whose founder, Rima Laibow, is a New York psychiatrist who worked on MK Ultra--the CIA mind control experiments that were uncovered and exposed in the last few years, and which Canadian citizens are still suing over due to the gross human rights abuses in these experiments. Rima's husband, Generale Stubblebine (US Army Ret.) is an ex-intelligence officer that has said he worked on MK Ultra as well.

I don't believe either of these people is sincere in wanting to help the natural food and vitamin movement, and any communications from them should be received knowing their backgrounds.

Cass, I just wanted you to know that I saw this post earlier, and that for quite some time now, I have had reservations about the "Natural Health Solutions/ Health Freedom" information myself.

I don't want any of us to be mislead by a group of people with ulterior motives.

You are definitely right about the misleading information from NHS/Health Freedom, and this concerns me, too.

I am looking into this to try to find the truth, but I'm not finished yet. It is an awful task, and taking a lot of time.

Incidentally, I did not know about the MK Ultra connection, and even if it is true, I'm not sure it is significant. After all, reformed criminals often make excellent law enforcement, recovering alcoholics make great alcoholism counselors, etc. IIn other words, I'm not sure we should always judge people by their past associations.

Anyway, I appreciate you posting about this. It spurred me to start my own research process.
