thanks Minou I hope people do this, it can educate so many. It's fine with me if you substitute in your own name and group - just let's get the word out there.

Excited to say that three neighborhood newspapers have agreed to run an article for Lyme Awareness month! We will be combining the state press release and the local angle.
Our local angle: a reported Lyme infection report from GG Park and a neighborhood backyard, and a tick found on a dog at the beach.
Then I may be writing a column for June, as well as going on public access TV, which I would like to do with others who have Lyme.
Hope others are having publishing success too...

Got in a fourth paper today, a very important medical one for San Francisco. Yahoo!! Had a very long talk with the person who will be reporting.

^ wow, awesome. thank you for your work. i hope the papers include some of the major papers like the sf chronicle or sj mercury news. i hope the articles are good enough to be undisputable!

grace do you have any connections at the "big" papers? They are not usually that interested in Lyme from our point of view.

Also, please join the country-wide Walk Against Lyme Disease. We need walkers from everywhere to make this truly a national Walk.
Wear your Lyme T-shirt. Wear a Lyme-green feather boa, that should get attention! And contact your local paper to tell them you are walking against Lyme disease, on behalf of those who can't walk.
Please go HERE to sign up for the Walk. Can you walk around the block? Then you can do this!
If your money's tapped out and you can't imagine driving to a major Lyme event, but you can walk around the block, we need you.
Walk for Doctor Jones. Walk for yourself. Walk for those who can't.
In Maine, we will start the Walk by walking a mile to the Augusta State House, to hear May declared Lyme Awareness Month.
