You need medication that can cross the BBB. IV doxy and IV rocephin are good at hitting lyme in the brain.

Thanks for answering. I'm just on babesia treatment now and not IV (yet?). Is there anything else than can reduce inflammation in the brain?

Mangosteen, without a doubt in my mind. Get the BEST...the original.

Pharmaceutical quality fish oil will reduce inflammation.
Antibiotics can reduce inflammation, which may be why some people feel better when taking them.
The Marshall Protocol uses a blood pressure medication, Benicar, to reduce inflammation.
Systemic enzyme therapy can reduce inflammation, which is why I looked into it.
Antioxidants can reduce inflammation, I think. Mangosteen is an antioxidant.

Getting core synchronism (like cranialsacral work), using essential oils, the Chinese herb pseudoginseng root, and high doses of niacin all helped me with the brain inflammation and insane migraine headaches, and neuropsych issues. I don't have these issues any more thank God.

Thanks so much for answering. Where can I get Mangosteen? That is the first thing I'm going to try on that list.
