I'd like to hear from people that have done either ozone sauna, ozonated water, or rectal ozone. What has been your experience? Have you felt improvement from the treatment?

Rectal ozone is one of the more effective options from what I understand. If it works, I'd consider it. People in the US want to do everything orally. In Germany and other countries, rectal administration of treatments is much more widely accepted.

I drink ozonated water. I got a water ozonator that wasn't too expensive, and I use it every day. I am using this as part of the Beck protocol.

I love it. I absolutely love it. I wake up and I'm feeling awful, then I have a glass of ozonated water and I feel better.

It does feel kind of funny ... in order to maximize the ozone infused in the water, the colder the water is the better, so I put a lot of ice in. So the funny feeling part is when I drink the water and my body gets very very cold and shivery for a bit. But I like it because it lets me know it's working.

I think it's great for detoxing and also calming herxes down.

Also Scoot, I was just reading your lovely post and article on mold, which leads me to another use of ozone. You can also use it to sterilize rooms. Ozone is 100 times more powerful than *bleach*. Gotta love that! I used it in my bedroom because we had new carpet and the toxins were crazy bad and now it is 100 percent better. I imagine it would be the same for mold.

I have to run now or I'd write more. But for me thumbs up on the o3.

Hugs Scott!

A.

Thanks Ali! Glad to hear it. I am going to start a journey into ozone next I believe...

I tried ozone sauna and ozonated water but the die off was intense. Sauna is interesting and pleasant. I think it envelops you in some kind of electromagnetic field from the charged ozone in the steam. Saul Pressman makes the best equipment and is an expert--his yahoo group is ozonetherapy.

I was looking at ozonegenerators.com. Is there information to suggest that Saul's products are superior to these? It sounds like they are comparable but interested in thoughts on this. Thanks

Bang for buck-wise, I like the one I got from Enaly. I found this site through some good recommendations on another ozone forum.

I dealt with Saul and found him extremely knowledgeable, strong tech and health support, and the type of ozone generator he uses is very long lasting. I will say that the fiberglass sauna cabinet needs to be outgassed--fiberglass contains styrene, and that's not good for you. So a new sauna should imo be outgassed for a few weeks before you get in it.

IMO you can't get better support and knowledge than from Saul and on his list so its worth it longterm.

I know some folks created makeshift saunas using tents from ebay and other places and felt they helped.

I will also say that the steam cabinet/ozone seems to me to operate differently than other forms. I felt even a few minutes was energizing in some way that had to do with the electrical field generated.

I had a hard time with the tox/detox. You get a lot of it. The water was actually impossible for me, perhaps I have a lot of gut pathogens. What I do regret is not thinking to use it after I had a tooth extraction that became low grade infected. I sould have used the ozone while the area was healing (this was 18 months ago). I had the setup here and it just didn't occur to me. Stupid.

When I drank ozonated water, it caused a reaction that lasted for several months. Perhaps it could have been lessoned if only I knew what was going on. It occurred pre-lyme knowledge.

An ayurvedic doctor we used to see said that he met many people through the years at various conferences and seminars who felt they had been harmed by ozonated water.

But I listen with interest to those who feel that it has helped them. Maybe there are some variables involved with regard to who would benefit and who would not that could be better understood, such as level of infection, and/or co-infections present. Someone once said that some microbes might be invigorated (aerobic microbes). Also, some of us may be more sensitive to oxidation issues.

Tree... the little guys are toooo cute!!!

Wow. What symptoms did you get? Did you drink that water a lot?

I use oxygen/ozone in my Steamy Wonder steam tent. It helps tremendously with herxing and muscle pain.

It is very relaxing and if I'm having an especially herxy day, it gives immediate relief.

Barton Fink asked:

I drank about 1/2 glass per day for four days per instructions. The reaction was not felt immediately. It gradually became evident in the following weeks. Symptoms were extreme neuro-lyme-type symptoms and thirst.

My husband can drink it and feel okay, no change.

I just had a root canal removed yesterday and my LLMD recommends getting some ozone and UVBI to help clean up any microbes or bacteria from it.
