HI all,

i am thinking about a way to prevent lyme after a tick bite.

1. remove tick safely
2. use injection needle to insert some colloidal siver into the bite area to kill off germs who entered the body despite the safe tick-removal

Any opnions on the estimated effectiveness of this appraoch?
thanks

I wouldn't take any chances. It's your only chance to permanently rid yourself of infection. I might do what you suggest, but I'd still take the month of doxy.

hhm with multiple tickbites per year you would end up permanently on doxy. Do you avoid nature to avoid tick bites?

anyone else with opinions/experiences?

I believe someone mentioned putting olive leaf on the site. Take some CS orally to keep the keets from entering the bloodstream. Wanna add doxy to be supersafe no problem. Doxy alone may or may not do it as far as I recall.

actually, I meant here to insert some CS into the bite area,to kill borelia before it enters your body. Would injection (not in bloodstream but in tissue surrounding bite) be too harsh measurement here? Would depping the would sufffice?

I just want to be safe and not overreact at the same time

I would go with the month of doxy (at least) and skip the CS injection.

Do you have any evidence that (1) collodial silver injections are effective against borrelia, and (2) safe to inject?

There are ways to be in nature and minimize tick exposures;
such as wearing protective clothing, insect repellant, and upon return, tick checks and showers after hiking.

I have also have thought of this in depth. With all the energenic testing that I have done throughout treatment there are a couple of things that I would start to take right away.

They are: cats claw, artemisinin, Liquid Allicidin and then either doxy or omnicef or both.

The heart pumps blood cells at about 40 miles per hour.

Probably a bit slower in the smaller blood vessels, but still, like Cave said, by the time a person can react, the bacteria from the bite is already past the bite site area.

I'd rather be permanently on doxy than have Lyme Disease.

thanks for the comments guys. [Big Grin]

Try a google on quantum touch. There you learn to generate high frequency chi-energy which you then can apply to your own affected organs/immune system glands. It will provide some relief to the lyme for sure or otherwise be helpful fore sore back/ankle/knee/headache etc

I have 2 discs in my spine messed up and use qt for that with good results. Qt is quite easy to do and not so expensive as you can start with the book containing the basic technique.

goodluck!

And in other more concrete-sounding news, there's a prevention protocol and an emergency protocol in Stephen Buhner's book Healing Lyme if you're deathly opposed to antibiotics. While there are no studies on this as a preventative for Lyme yet, the herbs seem to work well in the long run for many people with Lyme and some of the herbs have been studied for their effect on related spirochetes (like syphillis for instance).

Healthy people usually have an easy time with the herbs he recommends so it shouldn't have side effects for most people. I had a roommate get bit recently (and develop a red spot immediately), and he absolutely refused to get antibiotics. I was at least able to get him to take the emergency protocol. I think a lot of folks who are in denial about the severity of Lyme would still be willing to take SOMETHING but would never consider months of antibiotics (I convinced the in-denial roommate that it would probably at least help with staph or whatever other bacteria might be in the tick that could have been causing his red skin, which andrographis should do)

Also, I"m pretty sure that doxy goes bad after a few months. I know that there was some discussion of this here and not everyone agrees, but thats what the patient warning stuff said, or I read it online at a reputable site, I think.

Adamar, if you are looking for other possible, natural, after-the-tick-bite preventions, homeopathic Ledum and Hypericum are two remedies which are frequently recommended to prevent infections after a tick bite.

I've listed some homeopathic prevention protocols from various practitioners at the link below. I think they are listed on about the 5th post down. If you scroll down a bit further, I've also listed another ``tick remedy'' that you can make yourself (note that it should be used in conjunction with Ledum and/or Hypericum.)

I don't think so.

The bullseye rash (if it happens)I suspect is the body's attempt to encircle the infected area.

To keep it contained.

The window of opportunity is critical though because at the time of the rash, muscle Mg stores have been depleted.

A 33% drop off the bat. That # is astounding. If my math serves me correctly, this is about a 5 GRAM drop in Mg levels as the body mounts an incredible defense.

PREVENTION.

1. Follow guidelines. New research (within a year) indicates that Lily of the Valley scent (and a few other natural things) can repel ticks.

2. If a tick is attached, it SHOULD be removed by injecting a small amt. of lidocaine under the tick. Lidocaine blocks the Na channels and blocks nACh (an acetylcholine) receptor...keeping acetylcholine higher, longer. This is very, very protective.

3. It is LIKELY that if the above are not done...yet another preventative measure might help significantly. This is the application of activated charcoal moist packs.

From an old movie, a bit of truth:

Luke: I don't, I don't believe it.

Yoda: That is why you fail.

sorry guys, i forgot to prefix my quantum touch tip with
=>"for those who aready have lyme ... ".

an energetic appraoch can provide solutions when situations become so complex that is is not longer feasible to figure out how it works. If you intervene using medications you have to know about every detail how it works, one mistake can be fatal. With energetic appraoch you don;t have to know because the body knows.

I will certainly do everything i can to avoid this disease, but permantly on antibiotics is not a option, don't trust big pharma anymore.

Thanks for your comments
