I know rifampin is typically used for bart, but can it be used for Bb as well?

It can be used for Ehrlichia, but I never heard of it being used for Lyme.

Well, I decided to look over Burrascano's protocol, and found that he said that it may be effective vs Borrelia, so I feel better now. In fact, he said that it may be effective against Bartonella, Erlichia, Mycoplasma and Borrelia, so it may cover Bb and most of the coinfections.
I found this on page 15 of his 2005 treatment protocol, if anyone wonders...

Maybe that explains the herxing! Our llmd told us that there is no herxing with bart; but clearly this has not been the case with my daughter. All symptoms have intensified with rifampin. I wonder if it could possibly affect the cyst form of bb?

I have never tried rifampin, and am hoping that I can have some lyme success with it. I read the study that it has little affect on lyme, but it is doing something for my daughter as well.
