it's first listed (therefore presumably highest in level) "other ingredient" is calcium carbonate?
is this a bad thing, given taking Magnesium in lyme is supposed to be fighting against overactive Calcium.
it says the supplement is "at least 60% malic acid." if then the elemental magnesium is 150mg of the compound and is ~40%, and the MALATE portion of the compound is ~60%, that likely doesn't add up to 1000mg. this makes me worry how much calcium is in it, as it appears to be the next highest ingredient in line.

and the reason i am looking specifically at this product is because i am vegetarian, and am in a city with very few options.
(next supplement (a "citrate" in line contains presumably large unspecfied portions of magnesium oxide (it just says its a mix of citrate and oxide), which i am guessing just adds diarhhea, and has no absorbtion/anyrealuse. (both swiss and sisu are labelled like this, and i don't really want to just buy on that basis, with what little money i have.)

I can't answer the calcium question. For doseage, it's 150mg. It's always the smaller number, and not the amount of magnesium malate.
Your body couldn't absorb 1000 mg all at once anyway. It is better to take it in small doses about 3 times a day.
I use Source Naturals. I'm not sure if they are vegetarian or not, but there is no calcium listed. They list the doseage for 3 capsules though, so you have to do some math. You can purchase it online at Vitacost.
