Hello all, I have been wondering. I have a

great LLMD and I have been doing a lot better.

But he doesn't routinely test for Co-

infections. He says it is too expensive and we

cover them all with all the different

antibiotics we try anyway. I have been

wondering if I should be tested for them. It

may be the piece of the puzzle that I am

missing. I was just wondering what you guys

thought.

unfortunately, the tests for co-infections can be just as unreliable as the tests for lyme--so, you could have them, and still test negative. My daughter tested negative for co-infections--though after a while, the LLMD gave her a clinical diagnosis for babesia and bartonella. Treatment for those co-infections seemed to help her.

As long as he treats you for all the co-infections whats the point of being tested for them. They are too unreliable anyway.

I'm sure you would like to know exactly which ones you have. So if your insurance covers it, then go ahead.

I have been tested 3 times for Bart, the first was negative the other 2 were positive. Only after a year oof abx did it finally show positive.

Thanks, you guys are right. They are unreliable

anyway. He has treated me for all of them. I will

just keep on doing what I am doing.

Thanks
