My PCP has prescribed Baclofen for muscle spasticity. (My Rheumy duck is decidedly useless )
The spasms in my previously burning/numb arm are actually worse after each dose! I can't find any info about Baclofen causing increased muscle tone instead of helping it.
So, I wonder if this could be a Lyme-specific reaction and was wondering if anyone else has any experience with it.
Thanks!

hi; i've been on it for 9 years; it's helped me tremendously for the 1st year or 2; don't see any improvement but do NOT want to go back to where i was before. Posted by Tori (Member # 11647) on :
Thanks for the reply, Betty.
My body must have had to get used to the med because I am on day #3 and it I can tell it is working now. I will probably need an increase soon, though.
I am going to ask my PCP for a referral to a LLMD Neurologist since I obviously have neuro symptoms.
Thanks again!

tori, i recently did a llmd neurologist search and found only 6-7 nationwide! they are few and far between; so just to warn you.
