I'm not sure what aseptic yeast means. I have systemic yeast and my doctor and I have been working to clear it from my system for one year. He does not like to use drugs such as diflucan, so I have been eating a diet not supportive to yeast and taking garlic and olive leaf extract supplements. Another doctor put me on diflucan in Jan 2006 before I began with my present doctor. The diflucan went straight to my joints and drove me to the ground. No way could I tolerate it. But it sure proved to me that yeast was in my joints most likely causing the Rheum. Arthritis.
I think your doctor is doing the right thing. Yeast can make you just as sick as lyme. The symptoms are identical which is why I am so leary of "clinical diagnosis". If you have a bacterial infection, you need antibiotics. However, if you have a yeast infection, antibiotics are the worst thing you can take as they promote yeast overgrowth more than anything else.
