To the Editor,

Dr. Charles Jones Understands 2010 Medicine

I am a research physician with 15 papers and 18 books published, including the most up to date Medical Textbook on Babesia infections, which are Red Cell parasites carried by deer ticks. These infections are far more common then is appreciated by 99% of physicians, but Dr. Charles Jones has been aware of this serious infection for decades. He understands they can fatal because they cause Red Blood Cells to become sticky. Like many areas of medicine, a very small minority are true experts. When a new eye surgery is invented a few physicians are the experts. When an emerging infection like Babesia, Bartonella and Lyme are discovered by clinicians and later a few researchers, only 1% or less will be real experts--and these may disagree on what has been found by others with limited experience.

When my relatives were treated for 21-30 days with Doxycycline, they never improved unless they had just been bitten within 36 hours. All my friends and relatives tell me it was only after a series of antibiotics designed to kill the various stages or forms of Lyme did they improve. Further, Lyme has toxins on its surface which the average Ivy League expert never treats. Finally, as someone who has published the most current textbook on Babesia, and studied with Dr. Charles Jones--it is clear he understands Babesia. I have written the most up to date English book on Artemisia (the medicine recomended most by the WHO and UNICEF for malaria), which is an infection related to Babesia. I am now doing a textbook on Bartonella because it is common and no infection experts have written a 2007 up to date practical scholorly medicine text. Yet, while others have no clue, Bartonella is also well known by Dr. Jones who understands it is carried by fleas, flea feces, ticks, lice and many other carriers. In my time working with Dr. Jones, I found it to be a stunning experience. His range of knowledge was amazing, and he has a lust for learning that is still going strong at 78 when most physicians are already retired. He treats many patients for free. He works 12-15 hour days usually 7 days a week. Obviously, this is to serve children all over the USA and the world.

Simply, state boards have become the tool for insurance companies who do not want to pay for longer or diverse treatment, or for Ivy League snobs with 1% of Dr. Jones' experience, for annoyed parents in custody battles, and for scientifically naive prosecuting attorneys with the science knowledge of a 9th grader. Why is the top pediatric Lyme disease expert in the world being attacked by people with virtually no experience? The world is not flat and ulcers are not from acid but from H. pylori bacteria.

When 15 physicians could not help some of my dying children, Dr. Jones found Lyme, Ehrlichia, Babesia and Bartonella. Now instead of sleeping 14 hours a day, excessive crying, being unable to do basic school work, now they are A-B students only doing 1/2 their homework--advanced material is easy to them. They are great athletes and have contentment few children or adults have at any age. This is the fruit of Dr. Jones' treatment ideas.

Many people involved in medicine are beginning to question the role of lawyers in medical boards--no physicians are on legal boards and no physicians sit on real estate boards. Some watching the boards see them as pro-suicide by being anti chronic pain medication. They are seen as pro-suicide by opposing controlled anti-anxiety medications. Some see them as putting paper documentation before people. Studies and experience make many physicians wonder what broad and brilliant experience and publishing has allowed appointed doctors to sit on the boards. Is this merely pay back for donations and financial support of the state medical society and its many events.

Dr. Jones walked with the Rev. Martin Luther King in his early years. This deeply moved Dr. Jones and directed his life. Dr. King had to deal with abuse and imprisonment and eventual death. And despite the titanic service and care of tens of thousands of patients by Dr. Jones, we are seeing the power brokers of naive power, abuse an old man who suffers long hours, because no one else can fix his patients who have already been to the "experts" at various Ivy League centers and experts in "child diagnosis." I have watched him treat and seen the best of the best in action.

The removal of Dr. Jones from the care of thousands of children will result in the mortality of an unknown number of children. The pathologists and anti-Jones practitioners will find useless names for the cause of their death or permanent damage. But those who have 30 years experience with 10,000 children will know the real cause, and so will their families, as Board members and pseudo-experts merely scratch their head in impotent knowledge, and quickly move on to the next prosecuted physician or the next patient or grant. But they do not see this man. We have seen him before. He is a man who uses medicine to speak the words of his precious friend, Reverend Martin Luther King. Dr. Jones is to medicine as Dr. King, his friend, was to care, justice, love and true ethics. Any punishment of Dr. Jones is an act of joining with those who hate and destroy love, due to trivia and who hate a crumbling leaf and miss the wonder and love and sacred service of the tree.

Wow. What a powerful letter. The comparison to Dr. King is apt.

Hopefully we will have justice in the Dr. Jones case. It would be nice to have people understand the maliciousness of this prosecution.

Hi,

Thanks for posting this great letter. I sent a copy of it to Bettyg to send out to her lists. I told her you posted it here.

If anything happens to Dr. Jones, I think he's going to have to sue the Med. Review Board for unfounded charges & Kangaroo court.

We really need to help him accomplish this. It may take an act of Congress to help him!

I tell ya, it seems to me the Medical Establishment is going after the best and brightest of our LLMD's. I'm sure they hope to make the giants fall and then the rest are easy.

Let's keep in mind Dr. H in WI. He needs our help as well.

Please be aware of this:

There are HUGE differences between kids who get lyme and adults who get lyme.

Kids stand a far better chance/ability to recover.

Young people have many more defenses - more stored minerals, different hormone levels, different neurotransmitter levels, etc. that are PROTECTIVE.

Adult women, more often than men, develop lyme triggered "autoimmune" for many reasons too.

YOUNG MEN thus stand the best chance of all to recover.

Purple hat ladies (like me) would have the hardest time of all to fight lyme.

What a telling testament to Dr. J and others who willingly put themselves

Out there to treat Lyme and co-infections.

God Bless Dr. J...and all our LLMD's.

You must continue to ask the question....Why the witch hunt????!!!!

Many hidden agendas here, but the most likely culprit is money/greed.

Letting our children suffer is a crime in itself.

Great letter. Very inspiring.

Thank you for posting this.

Hugs,

Geneal
