What do you guys think. I took 1 100 mg. I am a zombie after being in bed for over 14 hours. My day is a complete wash.
Have you had this experience.

You can't judge any medicine by the reaction you have to the first one. Perhaps you need a smaller dose or perhaps you just need to get used to it.
I always give everything a couple weeks, unless the side effects are dangerous - like inability to breathe.

That was a high initial dose. Perhaps you could ask your doctor if you could drop down and build back up. It's one of those meds that you have to get used to.
(It goes without saying that I'm not a doctor. I do have a PDR. It says that a starting dose is 25mg bid).

I was prescribed seroquel for sleeping issues last year and you should take the smallest dose that will allow you to sleep.
I would start with 25mg (or less if you can cut it smaller) and see how that goes. You will sleep a long time and still feel groggy if you take more than you need. It will also make you hungrier than normal. I can't imagine it would help with the brain fog, so don't take more than you need.

He had me on seroquel before and gave me the 25 mg. This time he wants me to build up to 300 mg. He said its easier to build up fast and get it over with..........
I disagree. I have missed most of today. If I take his advice I will take 1 1/2 tonight. Well I cant do that....

Don't take more than you can handle. Many people with Lyme seem to have a stronger reaction to meds than the healthy population.
