The symptoms you have COULD be from lyme and other infections carried by ticks. You are in an area that has several good docs. You best bet is to post on "seeking a doctor" section of this borad. State your area and get a reference to what we call a "lyme literate MD. Finding one on your own is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Also, I would stay away from infectious disease docs unless recommended by a person from this board or another lyme support group.

YOU NEED TO BE CHECKED BY A DOC THAT DEALS WITH LYME REGULARLY AND IS WILLING TO TREAT UNTIL SYMPTOMS ARE GONE......... WHETHER THAT IS A MONTH, A YEAR, OR SEVERAL YEARS. YOU WILL BE GLAD IF YOU DO AND VERY, VERY, VERY, SORRY IF YOU DON'T.

if you urine has been a dark brown RUST color or a weird BROWNY color you may have BABESIOSIS which is a coinfection with Lyme!!!!

Many of your symptoms are highly indicative of lyme. I hope you find out it's not what you have, but you should take it very seriously. I hope you get to the bottom of it soon.

You don't say what type of antibiotics you're taking, but sometimes the meds can cause your urine to be discolored. Also, some meds can be really rough on your stomach (like doxy) and could make you throw up. Obviously that wouldn't be the cause of your vomiting before you started taking meds.

in observing ones urine...dark would mean you are somewhat dehydrated....

and cloudy might mean you are eliminating the dead bodies of the spirochete/coinfection/TBI's.

Drink way more water than you are....BB

I had traces of blood in my urine prior to being diagnosed with Lyme disease.

I also have babesia and have also treated for bartonella (hopefully successfully).

Nausea, vomiting, anxiety, blood in urine are all associated with babesia.

Blood tests for this co-infection are not all that reliable unless you have the strain

That they are testing for.

Speak to your LLMD re: possible co-infections and do drink lots more water.

Hugs,

Geneal
