I was minding my own business in the right hand lane of a three lane highway when the guy in the middle lane decided he needed to make a right hand turn.

He obviously didn't see me when he started his abrupt maneuver, his SUV hit my compact car and drove me off of the road into a few sign posts.

The story ended with his car being fine and mine probably being totalled, physically I was a bit shaken but alright. Now ten hours later I'm feeling a little achey.

Yes some aches and pains are probably to be expected when coming to a jostled halt while being plowed over by a land rover but...

I'm wondering if it might be a flare up of the dreaded chetes. Perhaps some spores have been awakened. Should I expect a wall to hit me by tomorrow. Should I be on the phone with my LLMD(who charges by the minute mind you)and be asking to beef up my attack on the little buggers.

Any input or experiences are appreciated.

Hey Lymbo! I'm very sorry to hear this!! Hope you will be A-OK! I wouldn't worry too much..yet. Just take good care of you....maybe take something for inflammation and get plenty of rest.

If you still feel bad a week from now....give your LLMD a call.

Glad you made it out in one piece!

After a recent incident (in which I was hit by a car while crossing the road), my recovery took about 6 months, as opposed to the 6 weeks a healthy individual would take.
