Has anyone tried Vitamin C through IV? Dr. Whitaker (Alternative DR. in CA claims great success). It is costly so I would like to know if anyone has had success with this treatment.

It may be helpful, but in my opinion, not to the extent that this dr claims. Just my opinion.
Do a search here and see what you find. Click on the little word "search" up above.

I'm going to be starting a number of IV supplements, including Vit C. I think it can help kick-start your system thus helping your body fight the Lyme and helping relieve symptoms.
I wouldn't expect Vit C to be a cure.
So it depends what you are looking for.

My LLMD uses what he calls Vit C IV's but they actually have much more vitamins and minerals in them. He uses them to build the immune system and also adds DMPS when chelating for Mercury.

I have not heard of anyone having trouble with Myers Cocktails, a popular IV tx which includes vitamin C in the IV along with B Complex and Magnesium I think, but my Cardiologist has had two other Lyme patients who got IV's of high dose vitamin C only from a holistic clinic, and one is now on dialysis as a result. The other is dead. Just be cautious and stay safe.
