ok, i've read about neck stiffness, cramps, etc. but neck temperature??
what makes it hot? i can put my hands on my neck and feel like i've got a severe sunburn, but then of course, no burn.
what makes it hot? the ketes dying, multiplying, fever (i don't have one).
i often get up in the middle of the night and wrap a cold washcloth around my neck so i can sleep.
scientifically, what gives??

Unfortunetly randibear it's another one of the mysteries of Lyme. I've had that happen plus my face and ears for several years now. It'll do it everyday and night for a few weeks then go away only to come back again weeks or months later to repeat the cycle. Always feels like a fever but never is.

Inflammation can make tissues feel hot. I get this on my arm and other areas often. Lyme and other infections can cause inflammation as can killing the bugs.
