Scott, thanks for posting these! I referred the sender to you; didn't know if you could use them for your site or not. I thought it looked interesting, and we have many INTERNATIONAL members. [Wink]

Thx, Scott -- very interesting reads.

Re the sheep-dip mentioned in the articles about the moors: they're putting insecticide on sheep and sending them out in the English and Scottish moors to decrease the tick population.

Dr. Andrew Wright treating CFS and Lyme disease with Samento and Cumanda

Dr. Andrew Wright sees patients in his private clinic in Bolton, near Manchester, UK. For the past
fifteen years he has specialized in the treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. He believes that CFS is
mainly a chronic bacterial infection, and that Borrelia is one of the bacterias that can cause CFS.
``Clinically, CFS is identical to chronic Lyme disease in many ways,'' says Dr. Wright. ``I think there
are several reasons for why we should think that bacterias are the main causes of these illnesses. The
symptoms are similar to bacterial illnesses. The gene expression, in very carefully selected CFS
patients, appears to be identical to that found in Lyme disease. Many patients are positive for Borrelia. I
do microscopy and I find spirochetes in many people.''
Dr. Wright has treated five hundred or more patients with Samento, which he says is safe, and welltolerated
by most people. He believes that for treatment of CFS and Lyme Borreliosis, the best choice
is an integrated program if the patient can afford it.
``Often it comes down to what patients can afford,'' he says. ``Many of my patients are on pensions and
Social Security and can't afford to pay for lots of herbs and supplements. They go for cheap antibiotics.
Some of them get better.''
Dr. Wright says that because Samento works very well in at least two thirds of his patients who choose
alternative therapies over antibiotics, it remains his first choice in treatment with Lyme Borreliosis.
Eighty percent of his patients who are on the antimicrobial treatments respond positively, with about
sixty percent of the patients declared clinically cured after a period of one or two years. He now uses
other Nutramedix products as well, particularly Cumanda, Quina, Burbur and also Amantilla.

I live in the Uk and travel to USA to see an LLMD

We have only 3 registered Lyme docs here in the whole country - Lyme is NOT reconised and although the docs you list help patients to a degree the majority travel oversees or remain unwell (with the exception of those who treat themselves)the centres that claim to help are often just money making operations here.

No one here gets IV without a battle and the ones that do pay themselves and no one gets treated for co-infections.

The docs that do treat lyme here have their hands totally tied and seem to lack support and knowledge - and one of those docs is no longer reconised by our NHS system.

awareness is getting better, although we are light years behind your LLMD's

Just so you get the facts straight:

Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, MD treats Lyme Disease with antibiotics and other means that gets people well. I was prescribed antibiotics by him - several courses of different ones as they tested positive with ART. His daughter just got bit by a tick and she is being treated with antibiotics. But I know that it is not going to be one day longer than what she can tolerate as verified by ART testing. Then he will switch her to other meds which work, also by my experience, a lot better and are much easier to handle by many patients.

He changes to more natural methods when people come to him with chronic ailments, often after lengthy antibiotic treatment, and are still sick, by that time loaded with fungi and other microorganisms which are often worse than what preceeded it.

Dr. Lee Cowden also uses antibiotics when necessary. He also tests energetically and with ART. If antibiotics test, he prescribes them.
Read the article - Townsend Letter - anyway -
I think you can read for yourself what Dr. Andrew Wright practices as described in the "Good news from overseas" link by Scott and don't need my interpretation.

Read the Townsend Letter which I linked if you have time.

Take care.

P.S. there are a number of clinics with Klinghardt therapists -- in the UK, including Scottland, as well as other countries besides Germany.

Dr Cowden does NOT use antibiotics. He told me this himself.
