Well I'm feeling pretty lousy. Not sure whether to rejoice over my good fortune, or kick something out of my protocol.
I am experiencing headache, nausea, sore throat, fatigue, muscle aches.
I think I probably have a mild sinus infection on top of whatever else, but I don't think it should cause those symptoms.
Is this an ordinary experience for you heavy herx veterans?

my herxes are flu-like. Can't say for sure if this is one for you. What are your "normal" herxes like?

Are you taking antibiotics? Or detoxing?

I'm on an alternative protocol, a combination of Beuhner, homeopathics, and others I've read. I also combine it with a good detox program.
This is due to lack of any LLMD's in my part of the country, being uninsured, lack of funds or energy for travel, and an overworked gut.
It's also due to my passion for reading, researching, learning, and running my own plays, and for having some local alternative practitioners whom I trust.
Until now, my herxes have been mostly fatigue and brain fog.
The exception was after two weeks of abx for a tooth extraction, when I got severe muscle aches, and other symptoms that felt more like this.
This feels like a severe detox, somewhat similar to when I have gotten lymph drainage.
I started bee venom ointment a week ago, and I'm trying to decide if I am having a bad reaction to the venom or a good reaction to it with a herx.
Bee venom is supposed to be a good cyst buster. So another possibility is a lovely new hatch, and I'm just having lyme disease.
My hunch is that I am processing loads of toxins from organism die-off.
Feedback appreciated.

Sounds like a response to meds or herbs to me (herx?). I get massive headaches, horseness in throat, neck and back aches and unrelenting nausea about every 2-3 weeks on Mepron/Zith combo. It knocks me flat for about 3 days. Then, I "come to", like I was hit on the head with a magic wand and I feel ok.
I always announce to my family that I think I am going to die when this hits. They are so used to it by now, they say ok and just tiptoe around me for a few days.
