Every morning I wake up nauseous, sometimes with a rapid heartrate. Mornings are so rough for me, but I feel better as the day wears on. I had a cortisol saliva test-high DHEA, normal cortisol-everyone else seem to have the opposite-low Dhea
Anyone else have this-I wonder if it is from adrenal fatigue or toxins during the night.
I hate mornings-bad way to start the day

I also wake up feeling nauseous most days - and with a splitting headache. The headache slowly fades only to return later in the day. The nausea usually goes away a few hours after I eat.
Then I get the "biaxin belly" and yucky tase in my mouth!

Hi Shoney,
There is an adrenal supplement you can get at GNC.
My LLMD has me on it at night and I take cortef in the morning.
I am still dealing with pressure (low) issues.
It does make my heart beat faster.
Do you know what your blood pressure is?
Mine has been 68/48 and 92/44 respectively these
Last two LLMD visits.
Not good.
Hugs,
Geneal

Geneal-my blood pressure initially had been 80/40-dangerous low-now it has stabilized and is around 90-100/60, which is fine. I originally took licorice root to help-increases BP and helps GERD!
I am hesitant to take an adrenal supplement, as I have high DHEA-but I guess that means my adrenals are weak. I was very recently put on adrenal glandulars-too soo to tell if they are doing anything.

Hi Shoney,
When I had the saliva test done with Aeron Lifecycles lab, I too had VERY high DHEA but normal cortisol levels.
My LLMD contacted the lab, because as you said, it is usually the opposite - low DHEA. The lab advised getting the DHEA level retested, but by blood this time, and said it usually turns up normal .....and they were right....had the blood test done and the level was fine.
Maybe you should get this checked in the blood?
BTW I also feel crap in the mornings!!

Is it possibly a medicine you take at bed time?
Do you eat just before you got to bed? Or do you eat from from bed time? You could be having a reaction to low blood sugar.

This happens to me as well. I wake up feeling like I have a hangover. It does get better during the day.
For me, it is the Mepron/Zith. I take 1/2 in the AM and double in PM. I work full-time so, I need to function at some level during the day. So much med at night makes the early AMs iffy.
This system works for me, as best it can. Play with your "doping" schedule and see when it is best to take meds. This takes trial and error.
Feel better.

I don't know if it's my meds-I think because I also have POTS, it's worse in the morning.
Although, I am starting to wonder about the hypoglycemia-I notice it is worse when I don't eat as much. Maybe I'll have a snack before bed!
Thanks for your input.

Yep, everymorning is hell all over again for me. Headache, nausea, muscle pain/soarness, floaters in vision, ect.
