I have been taking the new NanTek Chitosan for about 5 days now and it really seems to be helping with the herx. I am taking Levaquin and Arteminisin for Bart/Babs/Lyme. Anybody else try this yet? I have tried other Chitosan products in the past with no results.

I have not yet tried it but have heard good reports including from a practitioner that treats Lyme.

I've heard good reports too. How much are you taking.

Per the bottle you can take 1- 3 times a day, or 2 twice a day which is what I've been doing. It has to be taken on an empty stomach, and you CANNOT take it if you are allergic to shellfish.

THe herxing isn't gone, but I don't feel quite so much like I've been hit by a truck. [dizzy]

Does it help for neuro symptoms or just physical ones?

Honestly not sure. I was having severe neuro symptoms, and they have all most all cleared in last month and a half, but I was taking a combo of Levaquin, Cat's Claw, Arteminisin with the NanoTek Chitosan.

I seem to be getting by with just 2 a day now that I finished Levaquin. I am still on Cat's Claw. I do definitly notice difference if I forget it. Per one on the folks at ARG it seems to work even better if you take it with Vit. C.

Thanks guys. We got our delivery today, and I was wanting to hear a bit more about it before hubby started it.

I always get nervous when he starts new stuff. Just want to be sure I'm doing the right thing.

I can't see that there should be any problem with this though.

Thanks again.

Boomerang,

I'm more cautious about new things than I was in the beginning when my husband first got sick. Have seen firsthand how the wrong thing can really be the wrong thing.

Hope the chitosan works! Let us know. It's on my think about list right now.
