Sounds like words from a science fiction story,eh? Nah, this is Marnie territory:
It is about some fascinating articles I found in Allergy Research Groups July '07 newsletter.
quote: The NO/ONOO- Oxidative-Inflammatory Disease Model (pronounced "No, oh no!") explains the initiation and chronic nature of fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, multiple chemical hypersensitivity, post traumatic stress disorder, Gulf War syndrome and 14 other conditions.
There is a vicious cycle, involving elevated levels of primarily two reactive oxidant compounds in the body, nitric oxide (NO) and its oxidant product peroxynitrite (ONOO-).Once chronically elevated, these appear to act through known biochemical sequences to stay elevated.
And then they discuss ecklonia cava extract, a peroxynitrite scavenger (dervied from brown algae) with a long half life and ability to pass thru the blood brain barrier.
I bet this ties in with herxes and the difficulty in eradicating Bb&friends.
When I'm in bad shape it is primarily the burning (oxidizing) feeling of my brain and related structures.
I'm going to check this out more -- just wanted to get it out to you all for further analysis.

I got this newsletter too and ordered the Nanomolecular Chitosan (NanoTek) that they talk about. Started using it about 5days ago and really does seem to be helping. I may have to look more closely at the rest of the protocol. It's a bit tough to see what is Pall's and what is their own.

Yes, I ordered both, the ecklonia and the nanochitosan.
I am a prime candidate to try these on as I key symptom is burning in my ear and brain.
I had them email me the protocol. Basically, as far as I can tell, the brown algae substitues for the other 5 products.
Please keep us abreast of what sx it helps you with.
