Doing the best I can, TuTu!! I've been trying to PM anyone in DC/VA/MD area.

Thanks lou!! Info received from people who know the drs in a particular area is invaluable!!
I just have a "list."

yes, i'm like tutu; just have a list; NO KNOWLEDGE of any llmds except the ones i've tried myself!
tutu, thanks for posting this; i'm exhausted from just trying to keep up with 15-30 newbies a day; many are trolls so need to determine that before i waste my precious time/energy sending my newbie packages to them all!!!! uffda Posted by buckfever (Member # 9876) on :

Thanks Sarah! What many don't realize is that we know very little about some of these drs on the list.
It helps a LOT for someone to tell a newbie about THEIR dr or about a dr they have heard good things about.
So please check Seeking often to see if you can help someone with the info they need.
Thanks!!!!! Posted by randibear (Member # 11290) on :
if you want to refer anybody asking about texas, i'll be glad to give an opinion.
i always tell them tho, it's just hearsay and opinions, so they can make their own decisions.

I'll add what I know about docs in TN. Haven't checked in there for awhile.
I keep wondering, betty, has anyone heard from Bea yet?
Thanks.

boomerang,
NOTHING ON BEA! i tried emailing her 2-3 times, and get nothing.
does anyone have her home phone no. **********************************
i'm very concerned about Bea; hubby was in the hospital around the last time she ever posted!
yes, all the help from those LIVING IN STATES WHERE LLMDS ARE NEEDED, is the best advise for all asking for help!
thank you all! Posted by meg (Member # 22) on :
My opinion alert!!
If you go to seeking and you see a post in your area has already been answered-- PLEASE send the seeker your advice on the local Dr you know about.
Nothing beats first hand experience with a Dr! as opposed to one of us on another Coast giving a name off a list....just my .02
I would want to know, wouldn't you?

Meg,
Great idea you posted: "If you go to seeking and you see a post in your area has already been answered-- PLEASE send the seeker your advice on the local Dr you know about." ----------------------------------------- ALSO - a person seeking a doctor can call a local lyme support group for others' experiences.
If there is no local group, call one in a town nearest to you or one with a friend or relative - if you find a LLMD, you might be able to visit them and have a place to stay. Traveling to see a doctor, staying in motels, is very hard. But, if necessary many of the LLMDs have a page for hotels that usually are more careful with cleaning chemicals or offer a discount to patients. local lyme support group Posted by artraveler (Member # 12764) on :
Hi everyone, I am a newbie to this site, but not to being ill! I was just dxed with Masters (or STARI) and am receiving treatment, finally!! I have been seeing a LLMD in Mo. if that will help anyone. My energy levels are really low right now , but if I can help I definitely want to!!
