I was inspired by Brooke Landau's success w/ HBOT.

Does anyone know of a good place to do hyperbaric oxygen tx in the Bay Area?

From reading prior posts, there seems to be a huge range in prices, anywhere from $40 to $200.

Do any LLMD's have a chamber in their offices? Does Dr. S?

I would LOVE to try this but I am hesitant because it is so damn expensive and it's a huge time commitment.

I assume my insurance (BCBS) will not contribute at all.

What is the minimum # of visits that would yield permanent improvement?

What is exactly meant by "maintenance"? Does one need to go indefinitely?

Also, can it help Bartonella and co-infections?

I've yet to see anyone that benefited long-term from HBOT personally. I know a number of people that have tried it, but it did not seem to last after they stopped. It seems to work better for younger children.

At present, my thought is the in terms of oxidative therapies, ozone may be a better option.

Although the HBOT center in Chico is not exactly the Bay area, our daughter had great success there.
