I just got this symptom. I turn my head, and pop pop pop, like a grinding. My head is huting a bit too.
Have not started the bicillin yet, will that help?
currently treating bart, (started that 4 days ago), is this symptom sound like lyme, or a coinfection?

healthy people can even have it.

I think it is inflammed muscles pushing on the spine that makes that noise, I may be wrong

I've been told it is inflammation. Mine gets worse on abx probably due to die off in the tissues.

I use bromelain, rutin, fish oil and serraflazyme for inflammation but there are a ton of supplements that can help with inflammation. Be sure to check with your LLMD if you decide to take something for inflammation.

This was my first symptom 13 years ago. (They did not pin point i had lyme untill recently) so I had my neck x-rayed a bunch of times, doctors told me I was fine... but my neck was chrunchy and was very painful.

It still is to this day.

It might be worth seeing a chiropracter though. Neck problems can happen to anyone. I am going to see a chiropracter eventually, just to make sure some of the problems might be fixable through physical means.

I hope your neck starts treating you better! [Smile]

HI Jenin

Most if not all of my cracking and poping
was caused by Babs --

Once I started Babs treatment Also
the cracking lessened and after about 4 months it
mostly was gone --AAAhhhh ---Jay--

I get it too. My neck has started to hurt more often. So does my head. I hope this goes away with treatment. I might try some of the fish oil and such. Good luck, Rich

I have a really serious neck creak every time I turn my head to the right. This was one of my first lyme symptoms. I've now developed it a bit when I turn to the left!! I'm hoping with more treatment it will go away. I think mine is from bart. I notice that the more symptomatic I am in general (meaning the worse I feel) the louder the neck creak is! I guess that makes sense if it's inflammation. I, too, use fish oil but no difference so far. 2 years into treatment.
