I've been on antibiotics for a few weeks now, therefore my recent WB's have all been negative. But with my symptoms reoccuring, I wanted to get some input on my very first WB. IgG negative, IgG+ for bands 23, 39, 41. My doctor read this as an overall negative result, but we all know that's wrong, or is it? I'm trying to find a LLD in my area, but until then, what should I do? Keep begging my doctor to treat me? I'm so afraid of the progression of this disease. Every doctor I talk to continues to dismiss chronic lyme as a diagnosis. Anyway, I'm hoping to have a new docor soon. Thanks for listening.

Do NOT beg this dr to treat you. He WON'T know what to do. If you want to get well, find a good LLMD.

If you need names, PM me.

Band 39 is the most specific band for Lyme of all!!!!

Western Blot explanation:
http://tinyurl.com/ffn3x

"39: Unknown what this antigen is, but based on research at the National Institute of Health (NIH), other Borrelia (such as Borrelia recurrentis that causes relapsing fever), do not even have the genetics to code for the 39 kDa antigen, much less produce it. It is the most specific antibody for borreliosis of all."
