Thx -- that was a really fun read --
#19 Symptom checklist: "an inability to spell the word "the" -- it just doesn't look right --"
I went through that: I couldn't remember how to spell it and thought it was "thu" -- I felt so forlorn -- what thu hell...
Under "Lymie Oath": "I'm the only one who knows how many cracks there are in the ceiling."
When I was lying down pre-clindamycin treatment, with all that "fibromyalgia", people would ask me what I was doing lying down. And I'd say that I was writing a book on ceilings. And then they would look up at the ceiling and discuss it with me. And we would have conversations about our favorite ceilings in town. This was more fun than thinking about my symptoms. Well if I had any doubts about having Neurological Lyme-guess this clinches it.
this shows that Lyme can be a LOT funny-especially when you learn to laugh at yourself.

Had to finish reading this am. Thanks for sharing the HaHas!

Somebody should do one on the Lyme perils of trying to feed your family. The grocery shopping, the forgetting you have food to cook, the not knowing whether you made the left-overs yesterday or last week.
I'll bet Carol, our resident humorist, could have fun with that one.
And don't even think about telling me that I'm the only one who knows what that's like!
PS, it's even more ridiculous with a toddler in tow, that feel compelled to start up conversations with everyone in the store (constant distraction, as if we need help with that!)

If I could, I'd get out my guitar and strum a few chords to some of those lyrics! I needed a good laugh! Thanks!

Thanks for posting that.... I find it absolutely hilarious that something that is supposed to be so funny could be TRUE!!! Definitely no doubt in my mind now as to whether I have Neuro-Lyme or not!!

I'm glad we are all nuts. It's nice not to be alone. Thanks for the laugh.

Tincup,
Thanks a million. I laughed until I cried, because I've actually done so many of these things.
It's comforting to know there are others who live on the same street as me.
