I had a doctor's appointment yesterday. The only band I had positive was #23. Is this a significant band? I tested positive for babesia as well. He said it was a good lab (not Igenex) and feels positive that I don't have lyme and my symptoms are all babesia.

23 is specific for Lyme! I would try to find a LLMD.

Look up at the top of the medical forum for western blot explanations. Here is an abstract

The significant antibodies, in my opinion, are the 18, 23-25, 28, 30, 31, 34, 39, 58, 66 and 93.

Also I started a support group on the south shore of MA. Not sure where you are but PM me if you are interested.

Good Luck! Melissa
