i'm curresntly on IV rocephin for 4 days a week (2g twice a day) then have 3 days off
I'm also taking tindamax (tinidazole) as cyst buster pulsing for 3 days a week.
Question - when is it best to pulse in tini -on 3 days off from rocephin? or on same days as infusing rocephin? (i want most effective way for bursting cysts & killing the bugs!!)

Liz, you are doing IV? I have been considering that for my daughter since the infection is really invading her neuro area.
However, her LLMD does not work with IV's. I'm not sure where to go for this.

I did the Tindamax the same days as the Rocephin. I did Tini Monday thru Thursday and Rocephin Monday Thru Friday.
Not sure if it mattered though. I had done 8 months of Plaquenil prior. That may have been an effective cyst buster for me as I felt nothing different, good or bad, with Tindamax. I stayed on it for six months anyway.

I do rocephin 7 days an week and tindamax 4 days a week. I've done it for 3 weeks and my doc wants me to do it for 2 more. Have neuro lyme, but doing better - have problems retaining salt which was causing alot of cognitive stuff. I've noticed since I started the tindamax, I could sleep from one day to the next. On rocephin since July. Second bout of IV. First time in 2005, was on rocephin for 10 mos. then orals. Also doing oral zithromax for bartonella.

It seems to make better sense to take tindamax on same days as rocephin so that i open up cysts at same time rocephin going trough me to kill off the spiros so i'll give it a go
so far finding die off from the tindamax quite hard going (worsening of neuro sx, increased inflammation & increased fatigue) but guess i got to keep persevering & burst those cysts sometime!!
