I started IV antibiotics (Rocethin or Rocephin???), not sure on spelling. Will be doing this 2hrs 4 days a week with evalluation/testing every 4 weeks. Lyme Doctor said with Lyme Disease the rule is for every year you had Lyme Disease it takes 3 months to get better. Once I feel better he said they will continue 2 more months and then stop. Also, he said in my case my MS diagnosis is Lyme.
Please let me know any thoughts.
Thanks,
Rob

are you doing a cyst buster with Rosephin, or treating for co-infections?

I don't like your LLMD's theory. That means I've got 6 years of treatment!!!
It is good to go 2 months after you feel better. But what CD57 said. You want to make sure you are on something that kills the Lyme when it goes into cyst format and to target co-infections.

I dont even know what a cyst buster is. I was told I had Lyme disease, no co-infections.
I have neurological symptoms with lesions in brain and spine.

I don't like the theory either ... it says I have almost 9 years!
A cyst buster breaks open the cystic form of the borrelia. The IV Rocephin encourages the borrelia to go into the more dormant cyst form, so people usually take a cyst buster like Flagyl, Plaquenil, etc. with the IV.
