generally it is intensified when I shift my gaze.As
usual, I'm guessing it can be from any of the TBI's,
but I just wanted to hear what some more
knowledgable folks had to say.
Thanks,
Adam

There are so many bugs and we all vary so much!!!
And so many different kinds of PAIN!!!
My eye aches came with Ehrlichiosis.
My photophobia came from Lyme, my Adie pupil (variant size pupils) came from Lyme. My decreased vision came from Lyme, my floaters came from Lyme.
My piercing stabbing eyes pains came from Babesiosis and presumptive BArtonella.
My burning eyes came from Babesiosis.
The piercing stabbing eye pains were the worst and 95% of them were Babs but some infrequent stabbing pain attacks that hit every whenever or so went away finally with cipro!!!
HOpe your pain goes away soon-

I have eye pain, and I have not been able to wear my contacts for a year as a result. I also have a lot of eye 'goo' - yellow or green junk. Not sure which bug is causing it, but I'm aching to try Cipro and Malarone.
I also have consistently tiny pupils, intermittent photophobia, though I'm not sure how bad it is most days since I pretty much live in the dark now (it got that bad).
Most of my lightbulbs are 40 watt - some are even 15 watters - dim - the way I like it with this disease.
I didn't realize how photophobic I was until once, several years ago, I realized that I was still wearing my sunglasses at 8pm and it somehow felt right.

My left pupil is always bigger than my right.
I have found that bart treatment has helped this symptom.

I have Lyme only; no co's. My eye symptoms were sensitivity to light, eye floaters, eye muscle pain and blurred focus.
When I started drinking Ultra(the brand I drink) mangosteen juice, within the first hour, the eye muscle pain and blurred focus ended. Within 24 hours, the floaters and the sensitivity to light diminished greatly.
The mangosteen juice is an anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant juice. There are lots of different brands. If you try it, drink a lot of water with it and go slow. It can be powerful stuff.
