I know that it could be due to babesia, which I do have and hope to treat in the near future.
But can you guys post any supplments that would take away the tightness / soreness? Lately I've been having it 24/7. My LLMD said to take advil but it didn't help at all.
thanks.

Could also be due to mycoplasma. It is a big time respiratory pathogen.

I get chest tightness from spleen and lymph congestion.
It tightens up the muscles in my chest and pectorals. In turn the muscles in my back spasm and I can't sleep.
Detox, detox, detox. And lymph and spleen drainage therapy.
And trying to focus on the bright side of life, feeling love, and allowing my chest to expand.

If it is chest congestion causing the tightness... my favorite is guaifenesin and lots and lots of water.
That breaks up the congestion so I can cough it out and in turn ease the tightness.
Guaifenesin is the active ingredient in Mucinex and others.
It is fairly safe and can be purchased over the counter but of course... ask your LLMD first as I am not a Dr. This is just something I personally use and have found it works for me.

Hi Blossam,
I had a really bad bout of this a couple of weeks ago, if it is the same or similar to what you are going through.
It felt like a vice on my sternum, and the muscles in my back got so tight that I had to have my husband crack my back twice a day to get some relief. I couldn't sleep.
I think the thing that worked the best, believe it or not, is weight lifting (gente 30 minutes non-aerobic, as per Burrascano.)
The lymph system does not drain on it's own. It needs the gentle pumping action of muscle movement.
Some say that rebounding on a trampoline works well to move lymph. Others say don't do it when your spleen is in distress.
You can also get a massage therapist to do manual lymph drainage. It is a very, very gentle massage on the lymph, and it gives me a big herx.
You have to find somebody who is trained in it, so you may have to looks for advertisements and do a couple of phone interviews.
Also do a search on detox. You will find a lot on this site. One good thing is drinking lots of lemon water.
Energetically, the lymph is associated with the self, and with feelings of hope or despair. (Kind of like how you do feel heart aches in your heart, and butterflies in your stomach when you are nervous.)
I had to do some work around letting go of the despair I was feeling about what this disease has done to my life. I'm coming back around to embracing that joy that keeps things functioning better.
I hope you get some relief soon. Let us know how it goes.

Neutrophils releasing elastase can lead to COPD.
Pycnogenol. 1mg. per pound of body weight per day.
