Chlorella and Green Magma are the only additions to my regimen I've made lately, and now my heart palpitations are back, along with those sudden `all gone' feelings like I may faint.

I'm only taking 12-18 chlorella tabs a day (have to take them with meals or they stick in my throat) and the Green Magma is maybe 1/2 teaspoon once or twice a day.

I also had heart palps worsen from both Samento and Cumanda.......

Uh-oh. I just realized that I've also been treating an abscessed tooth with 2 new homeopathic remedies lately, also. (Successfully, so far, I might add.) I'd forgotten all about that. [bonk]

Well, great. I thought I was having heart palps from detoxing, but perhaps the problem gets worse from killing and `die off', rather than from detoxing. (?)

I'd planned to start doing FAR Infrared Saunas........I wonder if I will have this kind of reaction to those, too?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

How did I miss this post?

Chlorella has so many different functions ranging from providing rich nutrients, binding toxins, improving immunity, to rebuilding, that it is hard to say what is causing what. I have even read that it has anti-viral/fungal properties.

"Treatment of viruses and fungi, which sap energy such as candida overgrowth, EBV, CFIDS and AIDS is advanced by the immune-enhancing qualities of CGF (chlorella growth factor) as well as the antiviral effect of chlorophyll." (Paul Pitchford's 'Healing With Whole Foods').

Your heart does seem to be one area of weakness where the infection may be more concentrated. Could it be trying to bind something there?

When I began using anti-fungal remedies, I felt extremely jittery and anxious. It helped to use chlorella, but I had to use it at higher doses for awhile.

This is not advice, because your situation could be way different from mine. Just offering my own experience with it.

And who knows... your heart palpatations could be due to the homeopathics or some other independent source.

The sauna has helps me a lot, but I have gotten my metal load down to some degree. I think there is something to what Gigi says about sauna use and the danger of re-distributing the metals. If you decide to use one, you might need to take something to bind any possible free-floating metals before you go in or right afterward. Monitor yourself/your heartrate when inside...

I hope that you can take chlorella someday. I think it should be a staple.

Claire

Thanks for your response, Claire. I agree about chlorella - it should probably a staple for anyone in this boat. That's why I'm determined to figure out how to work it into my regimen.

I'm off the remedies for the abscessed tooth, and taking a different remedy, and I quit taking the chlorella completely, but kept the Green Magma. The palpitations decreased but not entirely. I suspect the Green Magma has many of the properties of chlorella, so perhaps if I choose to take both, I will have to take each in a smaller quantity. Trial and error appears to be in order........

Obviously, my heart area

I think I read somewhere that if you are having problems from chlorella, it often helps to take more rather than less. Boy, in this case, I'm a little leery of doing that. And it does make it difficult when I need to switch homeopathic remedies in the midst of `testing' out something else.

***''I think there is something to what Gigi says about sauna use and the danger of re-distributing the metals. If you decide to use one, you might need to take something to bind any possible free-floating metals before you go in or right afterward.''***

Presumably, you were speaking of the chlorella as a possible candidate to bind the metals? I'm drawing a blank on other possibilities at the moment.......

Thanks for your input. It is always insightful. [Smile]

Other binders that have been mentioned:

Macuna powder or mung beans (mung beans are very nutritious by the way, if the GI system is strong enough), apple pectin, zeolite, minerals.

I have also heard good things about IP6 and a product called 'tox-out,' but these might cause a stronger detox than you would like.

I am sure I am missing something...

With heart palpitations I would be cautious, too, about take higher doses of chlorella. Just relating my experience and what I have read here.

Thanks, Claire - I copied these into a file. I think Gigi recently posted a brief list, too, so I'll go gather those up, as well. [Smile]

Hi Truth,

The heart palps are usually from Babesia. You probably know this.

I didn't have heart palps until I was bit by the 2nd tick in May. It took a couple of months but the palps began. Dr had me increase my CoQ10. She said take as much as I could afford. I am taking 400mg daily 200 - am 200 - pm. Also I drink magnesium. I'm not at home now to give you the brand name but I will look it up tomorrow. I'm away from home all day today and tonight.

I'm not sure which of these two did the most good, but you might give them a try. I haven't had a palp in about 2 mths.

Could be from the ginseng or green tea in the Green Magma, but I doubt it.

Did you know Green Magma has Cat's Claw (Samento)in it? I just looked up the label.

I'd bet you're right that it has more to do with the absess though.

Tracy, I asked Dr. K. at the last seminar referring to your experience with Chlorella and Magma.

He said he has never run into that problem. His answer also: Magma is Barley. Barley is a grain.
Since it was under full audience participation, referring to grain -- I could not ask him - but knowing him very well it means that many people are allergic to grain. BROWS = barley, rye, oat, wheat, spelt. I learned that expression from him years ago when he was talking about grain allergy that afflicts many people, especially people with a high metal toxin body burden.

He suggested the same thing - "moving around more toxins and metals than the body can handle".

I posted a long time ago the publication of Italian research on heart, etc. and heavy metals indicating that these people show 20,000 times the normal level in their endothelium. I have it in my files and I know I have posted it here a long time ago.

From my experience: take more binding agents, chlorella the best, and you might just find that if you take more than just bits of it that you will not have problems. Chlorella mobilizes heavy metals and other neurotoxins in the matrix, not intracellularly, and if you mobilize more than the binding agents and/or chlorella are able to absorb, you will have symptoms.

Have someone test you energetically on chlorella and other binding agents to find out how your body responds.

Most the time, from my experience, it means take more. If you tried chlorella pyrenoidosa, try chlorella vulgaris instead. Some people can handle it better. Also be sure you use the best chlorella you can find -

Heart symptoms = metals = invasion of microbes of any kind.

I got rid of my heart palpitations with intensive antiviral treatments. After a week of that, I never had another palpitation. But of course I was already working on metal detox before that.

Mobilizing dental toxins with homeopathics? Check it out. The toxins do not disappear in this air -- they usually stay on the move or relocate somewhere else causing a different symptom.

Take care.

Sharing my experiences.

Tracy, this is Selma from Switzerland, now in Brussels.

I also got heart palpitations with 'floating' toxins, I suspect Gigi could be right, too many toxins, few or insufficient binders. Heart palpitations for me were frequent but disappeared very fast with right binders (but only until next intake of killers... )

It would be wonderful if you could find a kinesiologist for you... I loaded myself with chlorella when I got these stronger palpitations (plus jitterness and high blood pressure), but sometimes it meant almost a hundred pills at once, then dozens in the next hours...

It's quite difficult for me to advise you to take chlorella in these high amounts as it sounds I'm a maniac. And it could be dangerous if I'm wrong and you're allergic to it or whatever... That's why I think about kinesiology for you.

Just another quick note: Aurum arsenicosum and Ledum high potency tested in the last 2 weeks for me again (just once, in separate weeks). I wonder if my body is still fighting invisible lyme....

I'm totaly symptom free for almost 2 months now. Taking very few stuff (2 cats claw, 1 stephania, 1 eleuthero and propolis). Even free of magnesium and milk thistle. It looks miracle.

I'm working days in and out in dust, with paintings, white spirit, different glues, eating junk food for lunch.... Not a good thing, but we're out of alternatives as we're rebuilding an old house and time is running.

Hope you find a solution for palpitations!

Selma

Thanks very much for the ideas and experiences. Believe me, it all helps to hear from others when confronted with a mystery.

When this same thing happened with the Cumanda, I stopped taking it but the palpitations continued. After 2 weeks of this, I finally made up a homeopathic remedy (12C) out of the Cumanda, and 3 doses of the `remedy' later, the palpitations stopped. This time, at least, the palpitations do seem to follow taking the Green Magma and/or the Chlorella. I have taken neither of them today, and the palps have been much better. So, I'll start again with the Green Magma tomorrow and see what happens.

Luvs, I've often wondered if I have Babs - my night sweats are real award-winners, and a few other clues as well. In fact, I just asked my doc if he would draw the blood if I got a co-infection panel from Igenex. He said to get the kit and bring it to the next visit. (I didn't think he would go for the Fry Lab stuff.)

Magnesium in any form gives me horrible abdominal cramps. I do have some of that Natural Calm and I many give it another try - it is better than most magnesiums for me. And taking more CoQ10 didn't seem to matter - no change.

On thing that does seem to help some is if I take more doses per day of Crataegus extract (Hawthorn) when the palps increase. Hawthorn is a terrific heart tonic - strengthens the heart and balances heart function. But I would like to figure this out rather than just take more and more of the Hawthorn.

Bejoy, I've just got the regular Green Magma - no added herbs or ginseng or anything.

And yes, I certainly could have mobilized something from my teeth that the chlorella/ barley grass couldn't handle. I wasn't thinking along those lines.....

GiGi, thanks for asking Dr. K. I also wondered about the `grain connection' with the Green Magma. It is certainly possible, although I will have to pay attention to see if eating grains do the same thing to my heart. I haven't had a whole lot of grains lately so no data on that.

I do believe I have 2 different kinds of chlorella - haven't tried the Biopure stuff I just got. I guess I could have some kind of allergy or sensitivity to one kind and not another. Hadn't really thought about it.

I have still found no one near me to do energetic testing. But I suspect there is someone in a nearby resort town and I just haven't connected with the right people to hear about it.

The reason I started low on the amount of chlorella is..... well.... constipation issues. The Biopure folks seemed to think it would cause the opposite problem, if anything, but I have heard different stories on this. I can't get constipated and expect to detox anything, so I took the conservative approach.

Anybody hear of or notice problems with constipation with the various chlorellas? (I think GiGi made a reference to this once....)

Hi, Selma!! Thanks for your input. Seems like `the more, the better' has been the experience with chlorella.....(if you are a maniac, you are certainly a very healthy and enjoyable one. [Smile] )

It really does not surprise me that you again tested positive for the high-potency Aurum-ars. and the Ledum. If Bb - and perhaps other TBD organisms - lurk in our soils and who knows where else, I do think we will be exposed on a periodic basis, with or without a tick bite. And you have had your share of those bites this year, too. I'm just glad we have some `preventative potions' in our home medicine kits. And I'm very happy to hear you are doing so well!

Well, better head for bed. You have all given me very good food for thought - thanks very much. I think I'll go sleep on it *yawn*....

Tracy, I just read your answer now, sorry, I'm a bit out of forums lately. Yes, chlorella seems to influence my bowel movements as since I stopped it for about 2 weeks, I have a bit of constipation. It means, I have 1 bowel movement a day, and not 2-3 a day, without diarhea when I'm on chlorella.

I'm taking sencha now and chlorella doesn't match with it. that's why I stopped chlorella (sencha tests better now).

I also found funny Aurum and ledum high potency tested again. I really wonder if these critters are not waiting hidden somewhere. I'm totally symptom free, so I really wonder where they can be hiding....

Lyme and coinfections seem to be past story for me. I'm working on a house restoration, breathing the worst type of chemicals the whole day, plus white spirit on my hands and painting fumes, eating badly once a day... I wonder if I won't relapse, so far nothing. Even my sexual energy is back to stay [Wink] I'm glad to get away from this 'work' this weekend!

I hope you find someone to help you on measuring stuff for you. Anything dealing with metals is way too dangerous to take without that kinesiological help, in my opinion.

Hope you're feeling better!
Selma

Hi, Selma - thanks for your update and input. Good to know you did not have constipation issues from the chlorella.

Keep up the good work with your muscle testing - obviously it is working wonders for you. If the Aurum-ars. and the Ledum are indicated again, I wouldn't hesitate, given your excellent progress in regaining your health.

UPDATE: I'm fairly certain it is NOT the Green Magma causing problems. After several days of no chlorella (and no `tooth' remedies), but taking the Green Magma twice a day..... no increase in heart palps. I guess I'll add some chlorella back in a couple of days and see what happens.
